Electrical Fundamentals

The Electrical fundamentals course provides students with the knowledge and skill required to install, maintain and repair electrical systems in both domestic and industrial properties. It includes planning, layout and installation of wiring, electrical fixtures, panels, cable trays etc. Emphasis is placed on the proper use of tools and safe work practices.

Entry Requirements

Students are required to complete four 3-hour sessions per week, for 28 weeks.

  • Applicants must be sixteen (16) years of age.
  • Candidates must pass an interview.
  • Applicants must pass a Drug Test at their cost.

Programme Fee: $1200

Registration Fee: $500

(non refundable)

Other fees may be applicable dependent on the programme.

All programmes include theory and relevant practicals.

Graduates will receive an NESC Competency Certificate which can allow for direct entry into NESC's 1 year Level II Programmes.
