Instrumentation Craftsman

The Instrumentation Craftsman Programme teaches persons to install, maintain and repair the measuring and control instruments used in industrial and commercial processing. Students are exposed to variety of pneumatic, electronic and microcomputer instruments used to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature levels, motion etc.

Entry Requirements

Students are required to complete two 3-hour sessions per day, amounting to 30 hours per week a trimester

  • 3 passes CSEC General Proficiency Grade I-III or GCE O'Levels or
  • NESC Competency Certificate

All programmes include both theory and practicals.

Graduates will receive an NESC Certificate which allows direct entry into NESC's 3-year Level III Diploma programmes.

Registration Fee: $300

(non refundable)

Other fees may be applicable dependent on the programme.

Applicants must also:

  • be sixteen (16) years or older.
  • pass an interview.
  • pass a Drug Test at their cost.
