Information Technology Network Specialist Diploma

This course is designed to provide students with the requisite knowledge and skill to function as specialists in the Information Technology field. At the end of the programme they would have developed the competencies required to install, configure and maintain enterprise level systems.

Entry Requirements

Successful completion of 1640 hours of relevant work experience makes graduates eligible for the NESC Diploma.

  • Three CSEC Subjects including: Math, English AND Information Technology
  • Mature students with appropriate qualifications and experience.
  • Be sixteen (16) years or older.
  • Pass an interview.
  • Pass a Drug Test at their cost.

Registration Fee: $500 (non refundable)

Graduates will receive an NESC Diploma (equivalent to the Trades Professional Qualification, Alberta, Canada).

The following are the primary objectives of the ITS programme:

  • Develop the competencies required to install, configure and maintain MS applications at an enterprise level. These applications range from servers, networks and development of "apps".
  • To equip candidates/students with current IT practical and theoretical competencies required for them to venture into entrepreneurial activities or access employment and function with a high level of proficiency in the IT sector of the economy.
